Troy Dugas, Born in Rayne, Louisiana 1970. Troy received his BFA from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1994. In 1995 he moved to New York where he received a MFA from Pratt Institute. Troy has exhibited at the Rotunda Gallery (Brooklyn),the Islip Art Museum (Long
Island) and was featured in The Wellesley Open Press' New American Paintings in 2005. He lived in New York for 7 years and worked as a Designer for Federated Merchandising, New York Product Development, Nickelodeon, and Simon and Schuster.

Since his return to Louisiana in 2002, Troy has exhibited at The Acadian Center for the Arts (Lafayette), The Ogden Museum of Southern Art (New Orleans), The Paul and Lulu Hillard University Art Museum (Lafayette), Abercrombie Gallery @ Mckneese University (Lake Charles) and the Jonathan Ferrara Gallery (New Orleans).

Troy is also an adjunct Instructor at the University of Louisiana and lives and works in Lafayette, LA. He creates intricate, optically woven abstractions from his collection of vintage labels.
